I love that Billboard has a digital subscription. I plan on signing up for mine very soon, however, I do wish the annual price was a little more affordable. Even the monthly price seems a little steep but thats the only option I can afford myself.
This app came a few years too late. Billboard is always a little behind the times. Why do their top 40 charts have only 25 songs? They used to use the excuse of "space constraints" in the print version. What is their excuse in the iPad? Also each song takes up too much space due to their concentration on color and sensationalism that it makes for a difficult read. The iPhone app is much much worse. The "position last week" column is downright embarrassing. How can four different songs be at number 90 last week? A long long way to go. Not worth the money.
I hate to say it. But this magazine has always been a favorite of mine, I even spent $100 to get a year subscription. And I hate to say, what a mistake. The worst customer service which is shameful as at least once a month an issue wont download, or logging in will not work. Something is always off. They pass you off to Apple, who has nothing to do with THE SUBSCRIPTION AND MAGAZINE ITSELF but that should have been my warning. I am going to cancel, request refund and move on to other sources. Better, more efficient sources that will appreciate a loyal customer.

Great when it works... But unfortunately, almost every other week an issue is either not available, cant be downloaded, or requires a complete reinstallation of the app. A great publication and excellent presentation, but way too many glitches for the $100 subscription price!
9/12 - Becoming a weekly occurrence. Thursday, and no new digital issue. 9/4 - Its now almost Thursday. Id really like to be able to read LAST SATURDAYs issue!! But so far, the Sept. 7 issue remains unavailable. 8/12 - Even with Auto renew, it continues to be a struggle each week. Its now Monday, the print edition was in Saturdays mail, but still cant DL the iPad version. 7/20 - iTunes store tells me all my apps are up to date. Try to download 7/27 issue, and the app on my iPad tells me the issue cant be downloaded until i update the app! (Deleted app, re-installed, restarted iPad - same result.) Please get your %$#@ together, Billboard! 6/11 - cannot buy either a single issue or download subscription!! 6/11- I have an automatic subscription renewal and cannot get my latest issues. Please fix! 6/10 ...but more buggy the past few issues. Multiple crashes and power offs dont seem to help nor does app delete/reinstall.
I want to rate this app MUCH higher but the iPad version crashes before I can fully log in. It used to open quickly, have an easy login process, and take me to the content. Now, I cant even log in before the app crashes. this is one of the perks of membership. Please fix the app. Thank you!
